The Junior European Open is arguably Europe's premium amateur junior event; being the only junior event in the world where the Finals are played over five rounds.
Best Gross Scores: At least two boys and one girl at each Regional Final, with the best gross scores, qualify for the Champions Week Finals (CWF), currently staged in Spain in November 2025.
Best net scores: In order to give younger juniors the opportunity, we will be putting the top 10 juniors with the most number of points during 2025 (i.e the best net winner at each event receives 10 points, the runner-up 5 points, third place 3 points & 4th place 1 point) into the Champions Week Finals in Spain in November- please see the Order of Merit page on our website. But, the Champions Week Finals will still be played off scratch as before.
Best gross score of the year by an under-13 (born after 1/1/2012) will also qualify for the CWF in Spain in November.
There is no upper or lower handicap limit for entrants.
The Tournament is played in the spirit of the Rules of Golf of the R&A (the “Rules”). The Tournament Director retains discretion for the application of the Rules to any matter that may arise and his decision shall be final.”
